6 miles w/ Heather out on a trail (mix of sand & rocks) I can tell I'm going to tired from this run today.  But it was FUN, couldn't be on autopilot (like I am so many mornings) had to watch the rocks.

Something amazing happened tonight.  JIM RAN! Yes, that's right.  My non-runner hubby actually ran 2 miles! I wanted to take a walk with him after dinner, he wanted to go train Jiu-Jitsu- so HE offered to RUN the 2 miles to make it quicker.  Although I should have felt slighted that he was trying to rush through our quality time- I couldn't help but quickly take him up on the offer.  It was the first time we have EVER ran together. Honestly the first time I think I've seen him really run (and I've know him for 20 yrs) so that's a BIG deal.  He did quite well, averaged 11:12 with a couple walking breaks.  He ran most of the route.  I think he kinda liked it, but we'll see what his calves say in the morning...(snicker...)

Ya wrong gym! Silly girl! hehe My schedule is weird, which is why I end up running alone too much. I'll tell you what I've got going on and you tell me what works for you. I work from 5am to 10am on MWF, 7 to 8am on TT. Saturdays are almost always good. What do you think?

Captian Christi, I hate raisins in trail mix, almonds and dried fruit are much better than sand and moon rocks.

Have a nutty nutty day, if you can make sense of this blog.

Hey, time to get training for the George, autopilot needs a new co-pilot. Your ready to rock'n run, without the sand, B of BS Rools out

That is awesome. Thats a pretty good pace for not running ever. Great Job Jim. I need to get Jared out with me. Sounds fun.

Sounds like you got in some great miles today with the bonus at the end!

From Lybi on Wed, May 14, 2008 at 23:40:02

Hey! Tell Jim congratulations on his first run! That is something you can't boast about just every day. 2 miles is long for the very first time, too. How cool. Yup, he'll be sore!

Ju Jitsu, huh? I'll have to remember to try to stay on that guy's good side.
