Great run w/ Buff & Heather. Buff is heading to Boston tomorrow, her excitement is contagious! Love it! I need to get my butt outta bed and run with these girls more often, makes me run faster (9:19 av today) Anyway- gotta run to son's track meet. I get to help be a "picker" at the finish line- good times! More bloggin' later. Have a great day!

Update:  My son did AWESOME at his track meet! (I feel cheezy saying "my son" & not his name, but my hubby is really concerned about too much kid info being put online.  I have a private family blog I'd love to share with any of you who are interested, I will "private message" you the link)  ANYWAY- He took a 1st, two 2nds and possibly another 2nd (still waiting results on an event) It was a fun day & his dad & I were both able to be there.  We are blessed.

SO- I would love to get a little group of St. George bloggies together to run 12-14 mi. this Sat. morning if anyone is interested.  This would be a bit slower than the running store group, probably more like 10 min. miles (maybe 9ish depending on who is in) Not really interested in speed, just miles.  Please come, help me train for Hurricane Half! Anybody interested?

Christi, we need a race report from your son's track meet. Too cold for biking, got the bike back from the shop today.

Boston, what a kick, sounds like you have some tough shuffling sistas. Time to change that shuffling sista. You chickas are fast and dedicated.

Ideas: Fast running chickas

Thanks Brent. I would love to qualify for Boston this year, but not sure I've been putting in the effort. Hopefully I can get my hiney in gear for the 2nd half of this year! My son did GREAT at his track meet, one 1st place, two 2nd places (maybe 3, still waiting results on an event). So fun!

Yea! Having your child do really well is even more gratifying than doing well yourself, doncha think? Looks like you've got a really talented little guy there! Tell him "CONGRATULATIONS!" for me, 'K?

Fun stuff on the track meet and good miles for you.

I think I'm out on the long run. I definitely can't handle 12 miles and I would just be slowing you down for sure. I could maybe handle 7-8 at a SLOW pace. Let me know what you end up doing and maybe I'll tag along for a few miles.

Hey Lybi- thanks for the congrats for my little guy. He's such a cool guy (well I guess I AM his biggest fan)

Mik'L- I posted on your blog, check it out. Ends up I'm going long w/ Heather tomorrow instead of Sat. do you want to join us for a few miles? Thanks for being willing to be my running buddy!
