I hiked Three Pools trail in Snow Canyon with 5th graders on a field trip today.  Over 3 hrs. of walking in sand roundtrip (that does include a short break to eat sack lunches)  I'm definately counting this mileage! It was a good workout, nice weather (high 60's) and good company. Chatted with another mom of course because our 5th graders were way too busy with their friends to care that we were there! I did get to sit by my son on the bus ride there and eat lunch with him, that was nice.  I was so tired on the bus ride home, felt like I just ran 10 mi. or something. Tomorrow I run 6 w/ Heather in am, then Hurricane Half on Saturday.

Yes it has been a pain to deal with. But I am excited for the race on Sat. My first race so I hope I can do it. Not sure what to expect. I am glad that I am able to run no problem. Good Luck to you too.

good luck with the half on sat. Dave is at a track meet up at BYU this weekend, so I'm not running this weekend. Just hanging out with my girls! I am teaching lessons this summer at the new Rec Center in Washington, and a few private lessons for the neighbor kids at our house. Have fun on Sat!

What a good mommy! Definitely counts as mileage.

Good luck on Saturday! I'll be cheering for you!
