Ran Hurricane Half Today.  Great run! Felt great until mile 4/5, then a little tired.  Took some GU at this point, think it helped.  Loved mile 8 (I think it was this mile) downhill, felt like I was cruising.  Took some more GU (only 1/2 packet each time) at mile 10, had to take a potty break at this point too.  Was tired by mile 11 on, but pushed it because I really wanted to finish under 2 hrs! 1:55 would've been nice, but I'm just glad I came in BARELY under 2 hrs.

Thought the race was well run.  Didn't really notice if we started on time, I think it might've started a bit late, but didn't bother me. Nice that they had bonfires to keep us warm at start, could have used more porta potties at start.  Lots of aid stations which was great, I had something to sip at each one.  Didn't see a clock at finish which I really wanted to see! But had the runnercard results to take which I always like.  Massage at finish, lots of great food at finish- chocolate milk? Interesting... I was definately NOT in the mood for milk at finish.... Didn't notice if they were raffling anything at end? My kids were frozen from waiting around at finish for me, so we took off shortly after I finished.

The last 1/2 (and only 1/2 until today) that I had run was 5 yrs. ago.  Since then I've only run 5k & 10Ks.  So although my pace was much slower on this 1/2, I was happy overall.  Looking forward to the SG Marathon now and more long runs...

Congradulations, breaking two hours is an accomplishment. Good luck on your training for St. George.
