Great run w/ Buff & Heather this morning.  Foremaster- haven't done those hills in awhile- tough! Running with Buff really made us push it a little more than usual. 9:40 pace.  Hope I'm not too tired the rest of the day.  I have a crazy busy week w/ church and PTA assignments.

9:40 pace up foremaster is like 7:20 flat! It is a real testament to your fitness that you are doing so well so soon after your marathon.

Good luck with your busy week!

I have always wanted to run a marathon. I have always thought it was not in me, so I finally decided I would never know if I did not try it. It acually all started after being skinny my whole life having two kids and then a set of big healthy twins. I was just fat and flabby. As I get fit I just want more. I am no long so much fat but alot of flab.

Good job on your Marathon. I still don't get how it is done. (maybe one day)

Good luck with your crazy week! Awesome 6!

My parents and little sister are coming to visit this weekend. I went two different grocery stories to get all the food. We are going to eat Mushu Chicken Wraps, sandwiches and yam chips, eggs and toast, and I have a few back ups if we need them. Lars, my husband, said that maybe my parents shouldn't come visit us because I get so stressed out. I just want them to have a good time and impress them with how wonderful I am. Sounds terrible doesn't it. Lars is right. I am trying too hard. And my parents already love me. So my goal for the next couple of days is to breathe and be a pleasant person to be around.

I agree the running on Sat. was great!! I wonder if that's part of the reason I struggled today so much without anyone to take my mind of it, I could really get used to having regular partners. (Then maybe I would stay in one place better too!)

I have to agree you are sure feeling spunky this week! I checked out that foremaster beast when we were down for the marathon.... it's UGLY!!!

Adrianne- You were talking about how stressed you get when the parents come visit. I can relate! Mine are coming for Thanksgiving and I'm already stressed! Its mostly because we live in a fixer upper (supposed to be a fix & flip before the market took a dive) Anyway, we've been here for a year and haven't done nearly as much as we were supposed to. So I'm embarrassed about the state of the house and I'm starting to nag my poor hubby about all the work we need to do in the next month! Ok- so we'll both try to breath and be pleasant people to be around!!! (my son is looking over my shoulder and he asked "is this a RUNNING blog"?)

Oh, Christi, I stopped breathing when I read your parents are coming for Thanksgiving and the whole house situation. But, it will be okay, right? Are there little things you and your husband could work on, so you could show off some improvements? Or can you just bag it and not worry about it? Will your parents help with the cooking?

I talked to my mom today about the weekend's itinerary. With Lars's family, there's never an itinerary. With my family, we synchronize our watches. My dad is excited to cheer me on in my 5k race on Saturday. He's so fun. He likes reading my blog.

How's your crazy week going?
