12 miles yeah! Out about 1mi. past AZ border w/ Heather.  Longest run I've done since the Hurricane 1/2 in May.  Slow to get into, but felt smooth 2nd half of the run. Took 1/2 GU before, 1/2 GU at midpoint.  Water at mile 2.5 and Gatorade at mile 5.  Just need to do another mile tomorrow to meet my 25 miles this week goal.  Feeling good about this week!

WOW! Way to go ! That's a great run, I have to say I'm a little jealous. I've been planning all week to do a 5K tomorrow and thought that I would do a nice easy run this morning. Felt like at least 10 miles (Ya, it was 2) so today I think your my hero! Have fun in the big city of Richfield tomorrow!

You should come run with the running club sometime. We are slower than you, but we have a good time. Actually Jeannie usually just runs slower with us, she is about your pace I would guess. We usually do a 6 miler or so Monday mornings and a longer run on Thursday mornings about 6 a.m. Kinda early, but you almost have to go that early if you don't want to die from the heat!

Great Job Christi! A dozen miles. Probably 99.5% of the people in our culture will never run that far...ever. Here's hoping I will not be one of them. Ah!
