IT'S 2008! Oh "I cry the day I take the tree down!" Ok, I didn't really cry- but I do hate it! I'm embarrassed to say I logged a ZERO today.  I hope this isn't bad karma for me to start the new year this way.  But I just HAD to take advantage of my last day of break. Last day of no work or school or gymnastics or basketball or cub scouts or volunteering at the kids' school.  It just felt too good to be lazy today.  I slept in late and just hung out with the kids, put away the Christmas decorations, ect.  About 4:30pm I was finally able to convince Jim & Arielle to go on a walk with me.  We walked about 2.5 (round trip) to the pond to feed the ducks.  It was very nice.  But since its a new year, I won't cheat and count that mileage- ha! Tomorrow I plan on running at least 5 miles.  Hold me to it dear bloggies!

I did the same darn thing today! I don't know why, but I just could not drag myself out today. But tell you what, tomorrow I will run as many miles as you do (so please don't take another day off--I've got a half in 3 weeks!) On the other hand, please don't feel any pressure to run really far, ok?

Happy New Year Christi! You are a great virtual running buddy!

I'm so glad that I'm not the only one that took the day off. It's a holiday and a day off also made me more excited about getting out there today. Good luck and enoy the 5 miles!
