Head cold is still here, but feel better after resting yesterday and getting an OK amount of sleep last night (ok, amt. of sleep could have been better, scared to see Lybi's report- hee hee!).

Funny though, when I first got outta bed this morning I couldn't walk straight, I kept wanting to fall to the left- my balance & equilibrium were off- I guess from the head cold?... I wasn't sure if I would be able to run, but I decided to try and it was fine once I started running... weird though, never experienced anything like that.

Ran 7 mi. on treadmill at gym this morning.  Couldn't brave the temps outside without a partner.  Told Heather I would pick her up & she was to go to a class at gym while I ran, but I got to her house and she was still asleep.  I knew she was up all night w/ toddler w/ ear infection.  I've been there, no fun for Heather! I was glad I told her I'd pick her up anyway 'cause it got me up.

I actually didn't get too bored on the treadmill 'cause there's about 8 TVs w/ different channels on so I could channel surf and keep myself occupied.  I'm not smarter than the treadmill so I'm not sure of my pace, it kept trying to slow down and make me cool down after an hour so my time got screwed up.  Pretty good easy run, I would guess 9:50 ish av. pace.  I'm all caught up on the highlights from the repub. debate last night and Britney being taken to the hospital again... blah... blah...blah...

Congrats on the run and the sleep. (I'm not taking sides on this contest, I feel bad for the looser is all I can say!)

I think that it says something when your sleeping and running are about the same! Great Job!!!

Great job Christi--and with a cold too!

Hey the sleep contest doesn't officially start until Sat. night, right? So tonight is my last night to stay up too late...(Hehehe.)

I went to the weight class this morning. I...am...exhausted! It was an awesome workout and also very fun. Now I am debating about getting the gym membership and making this a regular thing. Thanks for inspiring me.
