Ah, the love / hate relationship.   Finally made myself get out the door today.  Slow goings- 5.26 mi., 9:57 pace -that includes crossing some streets and a stretch break (yeah, trying to make myself feel better- ha!)

So Sasha seems to think I can make a BQ this fall if I run 6 mi. 6 times a week.  Problem is I'm lazy! Guess I have to decide how bad I want it.  My ideal currently is to run 4x a week and crosstrain (spin & weights) the other 2 days.  Maybe I'll try this out for awhile and see how my shorter spring races go...

Anyway- its FRIDAY!!! Have a very fun weekend bloggies!

I think that Sasha is right, you have definatley got the BQ in ya! But I also totally understand the feeling of dedication that would require while also trying to fit in being a wife, mother, job, church.....the list goes on! I think you have to do what keeps you in balance and if that's running 4 times a week and then doing the other things you enjoy than that's whats best for you!

Christi - I completely agree with Michelle. However, I bumped up from 4 days to 5 (I do not cross train) and have actually felt better. I keep thinking it is time for 6 days but my life is not agreeing right now. Keep up the great work and have a great weekend.

Whatever you end up deciding is cool. I love it that you go to a spin class. They are so fun. Well, I have never been to an official spin class, but my sister and I made up our own one winter. I love those bikes! I love how you can stand up while pedaling.

I'll be interested to know what you decide.

Hey Michelle, Jody, Adrianne- thanks ladies! Yeah, finding the balance is tough. I want to love running and don't want it to become a chore (which it kinda seemed this week) Thanks for your kind & WISE words always. Have a wonderful weekend!
