5.47 mi.  9:27 average pace.  Nice solo run today.  Couldn't sleep last night, probably from all the sleeping in I've been doing lately! So I was up 'til 2am, which really screwed me up this morning.  I ended up getting up at 7am to get the kids off to school, then took nap from 9-11am.  Then I had to fit in work and run before kids got out of school at 3:30.  Yikes.  Anyway- good run.  Slower pace than last run,  but I'm OK with that because this was a hilly route.  My legs & feet are sore.  I think some new shoes are in store.  Planning to go see Steve at the running in the next couple weeks. Andee- let me say THANKS for your motivating comment telling me to enjoy my 5 miles today! It was the last thing I read before I headed out the door and it really helped me get out the door! Thanks!

I'm trying to get back on the wagon after the holidays- I feel like I have one foot on the wagon, but its dragging me down the street at this point.  Goal for tonight- in bed by 10:30pm and up tomorrow for a 6:30 run w/ Sara.

Great job today! I always think new shoes can cure almost anything! I am going to take a cue from you and be in bed by 10:30. My body might die of shock. You'll get back into the groove now that life is returning back to the norm (kids in school!)

Yes Christi, I am totally freaking out, but what do you do? She's ready and so are we... we know that it needs to happen for her to grow. It's still crazy though! It's still pretty close to home and I know that she will be home a lot on the weekends, more than she should (Boyfriend) I'm hoping she'll get there and forget about him.... but I'm looking forward to her not keeping me up everynight of the week! (Is that bad to say??)

Hope I can get back on track tomorrow!

I'm so glad you had a nice run! I like your goal of bedtime at 10:30 - you'll be well rested for your morning run!!
