4 miles this afternoon, 9:38 av. pace. Took me a good couple miles to warm up first 2 miles were slow, last 2 under 9 min. miles. Good reminder that I need to WARM UP before the 5k this Sat. 5ks are too short to try to get warmed up during them.
It was a very nice afternoon, but windy! I didn't mind the wind because I was doing an easy run and the cooler wind felt nice- but it made me think of you all who ran the windy 1/2 marathon last weekend- that must have been TOUGH, and you all still got amazing times- kudos to you!
Also got in about 45 minutes of upper body weights & toning today (then went to Bajio's for lunch, oh well!)
Blah, blah, blah. All of the entry above in black is actually Tueday's workout! Wed. I went to the gym and ran 4.5! Better luck next week keeping my days straight! |
