4 hilly miles w/ 9- 12 sec. strides.  Have no idea if I'm doing strides right?  I would just go fast for 12 seconds (not quite a sprint) then run slow and recover, then when I felt good again I'd do another fast 12 seconds.  It was fun!

I stopped 1/2 way at a water fountain (I was so thirsty) and stretched my sore legs. Total time inc. stop was 35:29.  8:52 pace. That's pretty fast for me for a training run!

I was tempted to do 5 miles today, but didn't because I'm supposed to run for 1.5 hrs. tomorrow morning w/ fast girls (sole sisters) so wanted to save some energy for that!

Christi, I'm glad you got signed up for Moab! Now I'm going to have to find another gear if I'm going to want to see you any where but the start and finish line! Nice "SPEEDY" job today! I don't think you'll have any trouble with the fast girls tomorrow!

As for Moab, it sounds like you'll have the family? If it would be cheeper we could get a big condo that would be family friendly and share, but I'm good with what I've got also! Have a good run tomorrow!!!

Wow- speedy today! Good job! I keep trying to tell you that you are fast! So you are running 1.5 hours of fast miles tomorrow!?! That's nuts in my book. Good luck and good job!

Michelle- what are the plans for Moab you are talking about?

I love doing strides...but my running partner who sprints like the devil's chasing her hates them...I can't even catch her when she runs that fast. The way I've been doing them is sort of the same. I don't try and sprint all out. I just pick up the pace a little bit and then slow down kind of like you. Have fun with your speedy friends tomorrow.

Hey girls- I just posted a bit about my Moab thoughts on my blog today (Saturday) Sarah- glad to hear I'm doing strides like you. I figure Sasha has clued you into the "correct" way! Its pretty fun, I think I'll try to do it more often.
