20 miler today.  Started at 3:55 (I was 10 min. late) Met up w/ Heather, Chris and Chris' 11 yr old son- Nephi.  I picked this route and it wasn't an easy one! The first 9 miles were flat, then a gradual uphill climb for the last 11.  We were going really slow today.  I knew it wouldn't be as fast as our last 18 miler that we did in 3:10- because that 18 miler was mostly downhill (marathon route).  Oh  well- this was big time for the 11 yr old.  He's ran a couple 1/2 marathons, but this was his longest run ever.  We had 5 water stops, 1 porta potty and 1 gas station stop.  Took us 4:30 so about 13 min. miles w/ stops.  Miles 2-16 were good for me, but  my legs wanted to call it quit at 18.  I think that's because there was some sidewalk running from about 16 'til the end.  I would often just take my chances on the road 'cause I hate sidewalks so much- they hurt! And my IPOD died after about 45 min.  It did this on the last run too, so I'm starting to wonder if something is wrong with it... Anyway- glad its done.  I feel one step closer to marathon prepardness.  Now- big challenge- I'll be at Lake Powell all next week on a houseboat next to a cliff.  Really nowhere to run.  I will swim & wakeboard alot- but not sure how bad this will affect the marathon training.  We usually go to the marina a couple times during the week, so I'm taking my running clothes and hoping to log a few miles around the marina.

Have a great week fellow bloggers! Run hard and log some miles for me!

Your truely amazing!!!! I don't know how you do it? I'm so jealous of your week next week. Houseboat at Lake Powell Stephanie Meyers book, and a little running if you get a minute. Does it get any better than that? You go and enjoy and get some R&R before the final training weeks before SGM!!!!

Have fun at Lake Powell! Think of it as scheduled recovery time from your long run...By the way you are INCREDIBLE, you know that, right?

Way to run 20! Wow, I have never done that. That's a lot of miles.

When you have a moment, I posted some questions and thoughts I have about Bella and Edward. I would love to hear what you think. I posted them on Lybi's and Michelle's blogs today.

Enjoy Lake Powell!

Most people I take to liked Twilight better that New Moon. I liked New Moon and how Bella would try to kill herself so she could hear Edwards voice. What did you think?
