4.5 on treadmill after work.  Expected my legs to feel fresher after all the time off, but they didn't.  At least my arch pain is gone- that is a very good thing! It took me almost 3 miles to warm up, then I started scooting along pretty well.  My speed is not up to par.  I'll really be relying on those downhills to help me out with my speed come race day!

No arch pain--that's good news. And just in time, too! And as for the long warm up, you know what Sasha says about that...something like the more powerful the engine, the longer it takes to warm up. You're an 8 cylinder, girl!

I can't wait to hang out with my blogging buddies in St. George. One more week exactly!

Ah- you made my day with the Sasha comment, guess I won't feel so bad about being a slow starter. Can't wait to see you too!
