Met up w/ the St. George Running Club, guys who run WAY faster than me.  They were nice to me, warmed up together (well- their warm up is almost my tempo -hee hee) And never saw them again after the warm-up, they took off.  But I was so glad just to get out there

bike ride 4.5 miles w/ hill (webb hill)

 Tomrrow is Spectrum 10K, I'm excited but have no idea what time to expect since I haven't been running too much! It  should be a good eye opener/ tune up run! Doing it alone which is a bummer, husband & kids will be at son's soccer game (where I should be, didn't know he had a game at the same time when I reg. for the run), and my girlfriend who was going to do it with me cancelled.  Oh well, sure I'll see some familiar faces & scenary will be beautiful!

Had a great race! I really was expecting a time of about 54/55 and thrilled myself with 52:34! I think I have the downhill course to thank for that.  The last race I did (Dam 2 Dam 5 miler) I felt terrible and could never get going.  Thankfully not the case this time! I did lose steam on the last mile, but overall very satisfied.

Hiked for an hour in Snow Canyon (Petrified Dunes) with the hubby & kids.  Felt good to stretch the legs after yesterday's race.  Quads are stiff...

Strength class at gym this morning then a mile on the treadmill afterwards just to make sure I wasn't too sore after Saturday's race.. Felt good except I keep running on the outside edge of my left foot, I'm rolling it weird.  Seems to be getting worse, or I'm more aware of it the last few months- although at the race Sat. I didn't notice it? Weird. I used to run in really cushioned/light Asics, then recently switched to more stable Sauconys thinking I needed more stability for my rolling- thought I was overpronating.  Now I think maybe its actually underpronating?  Looking forward to getting back to more running tomorrow.

Ran 3.5 today.  Finally a real run, 1st since the race last Sat.  Let's just say I started out really slow (even slower than normal- yeah that's SLOW!) I'm still sore from the race, quads, ankles & shins.  But had a good run, will run again tomorrow, hopefully a little longer...

Biked for an hour w/ hubby, Jim.  Temple Quarry trail & part of Snow Canyon.  Fun, but feeling like a slacker for not running.  My mileage this week stinks! I plan to do 3 or 4 mi. tomorrow and 7 or 8 on Sat...

Ran from Confluence to Man O' War & back.  Think that's about 4 miles total, 2 mi. each way ? Took me at least a mile & 1/2 to warm up.  My posture was terrible! But felt really good for the 2nd 1/2 of the run.  Pretty good speed, a minute slower than race pace.
