Holy Cow! I'm back from Lake Powell, it was a GREAT vacation!!! www.CarpeDiem95.blogspot.com if you want to see slideshow from the trip.

I can't believe SGM is 12 days away! I feel really out of touch with it this year.  I think that's mostly because I've relied so much on my friend Heather to train & run the races with me.  Now that she's pregnant, I'm on my own except for occasional runs with the Sole Sisters.  This morning I just couldn't pull myself out of bed.  Its like I'm mentally OVER the marathon already.  BUT- since I'm blogging I hope someone reads this who will hold me accountable: I'm going to meet the Sole Sistas early tomorrow morning to see if my body can still run.  HOLD ME TO IT! After a couple of runs this week I'll re-access my final SGM goals.   At this point I'm ready for it to be over and to enjoy some shorter races this fall & winter.

Good luck all you other bloggies who are on the final marathon push!

Christi, no doubt, with Gwen, you will run with spirit at St. George. By the way, nice Powell pictures, really enjoyed the music with the slide show. Is there a blogger party this year? Have not heard.

Question, is there a restauant in St.George, like a sports place with TVs. We are coming down on thursday, I would like to find a place to watch the U of U football game on versus.

Our new puppy is a half maltesse and and half mini schnauzer. She is very cute, a little ball of fluff. Our cat thinks she is a rodent and when I turn my back it goes in for the kill. I would post a picture if I new how? Maybe I'll make that a project to learn this week if I can sneak it in with a lot of other fun things to do, starting with tomorrow getting my peaches bottled! Uhg!
