4.7 in 47.  10 min. miles.  I was hoping for faster, oh well.  Ran alone (my choice for sleeping in and missing the 6am run w/ Heather) stopped to stretch a couple times, that affected my time I guess. I'm sore today, ankles and feet.  Probably need new shoes.  Keep saying that but haven't done anything about it.  Afraid to try to pick some out 'cause I'm so indecisive and seem to pick the wrong ones. The weather was perfect anyway, nice fall mid day run!

Its FRIDAY! Happy day!  My sis-in-law offered to babysit, think I'll take her up on it and go see a movie w/ Jim.

That is the most hilarious picture ever.

I love it.

Nice run and got to sleep in too! Had your cake and ate it, nice! I haven't been able to make myself get out and run yet. Our luggage didn't make it to our house till almost midnight and so I've just been slowly sifting through it. I think that my run will have to come this evening, but I'll do something.

I never rely on myself to pick out running shoes. I go to a local running store where all the employees are avid runners and very knowledgable. If you tell them your current mileage, and know if you pronate at all (if you don't know, they can usually tell by how your shoes wear down), they can probably select a good shoe for you. Also, once I find a shoe I like, I stick with it!

By the way, I couldn't see the picture from the other day!
